Authorize.net: Create a Single and Recurring Transaction using CIM

Steps to Create a Single Transaction from Authorize.net Back-end using CIM

1) Login to the Authorize.net Back-end system
2) Check the link “Customer Information Manager” from the left menu
3) Click on the Profile ID of the corresponding Customers
4) Customer Profile, Payment Profile(s) and Shipping Profile(s) will be listed here
5) If there are more than one Credit Card associated with a single customer Email Address it will be listed on the Payment Profile(s)
6) Choose the correct credit card and hit the buttonCharge
7) If the new Order requires any Shipping option select from the “Shipping Profile(s)” or check the option “This order does not require shipping
8) Hit the button “Continue”
9) Fill the Order Information where Transaction Type and Total Amount are required fields.
10) Hit the button “Submit”

Steps to create a recurring transaction from Authorize.net Back-end using CIM

1) Continue the above steps till 5
6) Hit the button “View History”
7) Find the correct Transaction ID from the list of transactions and click on the corresponding “Trans ID”
8) Confirm the details of the payment and click on the link “Create ARB Subscription from Transaction”
9) Fill all the details including “Payment Method”, “Payment/Authorization Information”, “Order Information”, Subscription Interval”, “Subscription Duration”, “Trial Period”, “Customer Billing Information” and “Shipping Information”. Most of these will be prefilled and confirm the details and hit “Submit” button
